Les Paroles, Paroles - Tribute to Dalida by Pascalito Neostalgia Trio - Video
PUBLISHED:  Mar 26, 2014
DESCRIPTION:
New-York based French singer Pascalito and his Neostalgia trio premiered a new rendition of "Paroles, Paroles" at their show "Citizen Chanteur" filmed and recorded live at the Metropolitan Room. This "Franco Italian samba" song made famous as a duet by Egyptian Italian singer Dalida and French actor Alain Delon in the 70's is here adapted and interpreted from the male perspective. While the young infatuated yet broken-hearted poet Pascalito is lamenting on an ungrateful, overly promising and constantly nagging woman, his fellow pianist musical director Luiz Simas acts as a relationship advisor and warns his singer to be careful, ignore her and move on as stated in the funny comment: "She is not worth it, your muse is bad news!". The audience participates and joins the band in singing the chorus at the end.
