BIOGRAPHY



Bass player left-handed, self-educated, I begin with the guitar in various formations from 1973 to 1987 (variety, blues, rock'n'roll, jazz-rock'n'roll, jazz) in the Champagne area north of France) where I am coming from.
1987: I am discovered a passion for the bass by listening to "Jaco" in Weather Report (Heavy Weather). Well, 2 strings are removed, and one starts again.
1992: arrival in the pink city (Toulouse in south of France) participation in various formations: Laurent MARC & Mélétunétron, Richard CALLEJA, JAZZ TIME Big Band, Philippe RIGAL, JACSO, Tony PETRUCCIANNI.
2001: Entered the trio Serge LOPEZ, guitarist of flamenco, with Pascal ROLLANDO, percussion, my more beautiful adventure!
2006: I form part of the formation d'Antonio Kiko RUIZ (other very beautiful adventure), with which i play also with Victoria ABRIL.
Large a thank you with these marvellous musicians who crossed my road and who nourish my spirit.



BIOGRAPHIE



- Bassiste autodidacte gaucher (j'ai même oublié de retourner les cordes!), j'ai débuté par la guitare dans différents groupes de 1973 à 1987 (variété, blues, rock, jazz-rock, jazz) dans la région Champagne dont je suis originaire.
- 1986 : Je me découvre une passion pour la basse en écoutant "Jaco" l'album "Heavy Weather" de Weather Report. Bon, on enlève 2 cordes, et on recommence.
- 1992 : arrivée dans la ville rose. participation à diverses formations Toulousaines : Laurent MARC & Mélétunétron, Richard CALLEJA, JAZZ TIME Big Band, Philippe RIGAL, Quarteto CAMARA, JACSO, Tony PETRUCCIANNI.
- 2001 : Je découvre le flamenco dans le trio Serge LOPEZ (avec Pascal ROLLANDO, percussion) une révélation ! magnifique aventure qui se poursuit.

- 2006 : J'intégre la formation d'Antonio Kiko RUIZ (autre très belle aventure), ce qui m'immerge plus intensément dans cet univers magique qu'est le flamenco.
