One of the joys of committing to being a guitar player for the long-term is the eventual discovery of a mighty tool: The Compressor. Compressor junkies (like me) will know the difference, sonically and perhaps otherwise, between many different compressor circuits and own a version of most of the good ones. The Henretta Engineering Orange Whip Compressor is one of the good ones. It's very hard to turn off once you've had a taste of its squeeziness, and its size makes it a no-brainer if pedalboard real estate is an issue - and even if it isn't an issue.

Here I've teamed it up with the equally as cool Pinkman Dirty Boost (see this channel for further Pinkman demos).

From the website:

"The Orange Whip is a simple, small box compressor pedal based on the popular Dan Armstrong Orange Squeezer circuit. The 2” x 2” box can squeeze its way onto any pedal board. Internal trimmers control the bias (mild adjustments to amount of compression) and output volume. This circuit is known for its subtle and musical compression."
