A hard working man who rocks the mic rapping and beatboxing, as well as producing and writing soulful tunes, who doesnt get scared by using a wide variety of styles and flavours. He easily crosses over, mixing NewSoul with HipHop, Funk, Reggae, or Worldmusic Possibly his style sounds retro sometimes, but it is always fresh: "Bridging the gap between old soul vibes and powerful hiphop elements, using modern creative production techniques - that's what is so attractive to me" – he states. But in fact, he's not using factory sounds. The Capudelup sound is an original, natural sound, exclusively recorded with live instruments. You can always hear it: it's the sound of wood, brass and old transistors, on top of hiphop beats, that hit you into your face – on and on.
The Rumanian born producer, rapper and singer worked for a bunch of years in different groups and projects. He was singing, rapping, playing different instruments like drums and bass guitar in some bands, always improving his skills and looking for his own style. The direction is obvious: straight up soul.

"I always thought that I cannot be alone there feeling this way. I've always been looking for people who musically feel like I do. Finally I found some, and we grew into something like a pool of musicians where everybody helps the other. This means a lot to us and we are all very happy to have met each other. That's the Positunes group. It came up solely from the need of sharing musical feelings with someone who just understands. The results can be heard on the Positunes tracks.
Capudelup is Rumanian and means "the wolves head". The origin is ancient and based on the culture of Rumanian tribes from Transilvania many hundred years ago. That is the origin of this man, that's where his spirituality comes from as well as is his inspiration and his soul: when the ancient tribes danced around the fireplace, preparing for battle and therefore became wolves. Today, he's not forced to fight any more, but he has gathered a pack to walk with. To get his loot – the hearts of soul and hiphop fans.
