John de Sohn is a uniquely talented DJ/producer from the south of Sweden. With inspiration derived from groups such as Kraftwerk and Daft Punk, John’s parents encouraged him at an early age to follow his interest in electronic music. Soon after, he quickly became involved in the club scene and found himself as Resident DJ in some of the biggest clubs in Sweden. He quickly started producing remixes for artists such as Flo Rida and Bruno Mars and was receiving support from many superstar DJs
John de Sohn feat. Andreas Moe - Long Time has gone 2x Platinum in Sweden and Top 10 on the Billboard Dance Chart. The release has also been featured on Tiesto’s Club Life Miami - Vol 2. “Long Time” held a Top 10 spot on the Swedish Dance Chart for 20 weeks and was the 25th most played dance track in the USA for 2012.
The follow-up smash “Dance Our Tears Away” that was his big break-through in Sweden. The track was on highest rotation across most commercial and public service radio stations. The track was a success even outside the borders of Sweden with major radio adds in countries like Norway, Finland, Denmark, Russia, Poland and South Africa. and also reached 2x Platinum and appeared recently on both Dancing in the stars and American Idol with the three finalist singing the track.
“Under The Sun” features vocal artist Andreas Moe whose voice is recognized from Avicii’s “Fade Into Darkness” it has already went Platinum in Sweden and is right now on high rotation across most commercial and public service radio stations and has been #1 on Swedish dance chart for several weeks. Right now #10 most played track on Spotify with over 100 000 plays everyday.
