Ok, maybe there's something in this that You can use! Wrote it a bit more "personal" and not so "industry".

Hi, can't even begin to tell You how glad I am You found MY space. I'm León and to compress myself and my person into this short piece of text is of course impossible but I sure will give it a try. Haven't lived that long but long enough to get a half-grip on life. I'm definitely here and so are You so here we go.



My dad was an officer working for russian military intelligence. I was born in east-germany where I spent my first 14 years. Dad was stationed there. And yeah, this was before the wall was taken down. After Germany we moved to my beloved Moscow and then, via Paris I ended up here in Stockholm. God knows where the future will take me. I hear there's plans to go to Mars. Heck, I'm not picky!;-) If the Martians really want some León, well, where ever there's an audience is what I say! Now there's a reason to have a myspace page right. For me, it's my music that's playing in the background. For as long as I can remember singing has been my thing, Sure, I've studied fashion design in Moscow and Paris, been discovered by Elite, been a supermodel and as of right now I'm studying graphic design. But that's just icing on the cake;-) And all of that, damn proud of it!

The music is really what's dearest to my heart though. Not saying music's not part of all that other stuff. It's like a red thread running through my life and my veins. It colors everything I do.



So for as long as I can remember I have wanted to sing. Since mom and dad had their sights on me becoming an olympic gymnast, well, lets just say support was sparse around my house. The only option was to sing in some local choirs. So easier sung then done I joined just about every choir there was. School, gospel and folk choirs, You name it. If there was a gathering of more then 3 people, Leon was there singing her throat off!:-) Those years were really important though! Helped me find my voice and musical identity. Ok, so I'm still really Young here and as the years passed I started to focus on writing and found that I could. All surprised about that I picked up the guitar and that's how I write songs these days. Just me and the guitar. And sometimes with the great pleasure of a co-write. Love that so if You're an amazing songwriter or producer. Don't hesitate to check my schedule;-)



Ok, this presentation is growing long but bare with me;-).

So in Sweden first I hooked up with Anders Bagge great producer and songwriter. Had fantastic experiences with Murlyn Music guys. Then I've met a producer Patrik Frisk. He has been such an inspiration and was really open to me an my ideas (thanks' Patrik). I practically lived in his studio there for a while. My vocal coach Susanna Hultén also played quite a significant role in my starting of a new career in Music Industry(my thanx goes out to you)



Since this world is one chaotic, crazy place and that's what's inspiring to me when I write. I figure, it's so important that some positivity shines through. Music of course being a great tool in that cause! My songs are like small wake-up calls. Trying to remind people about love and kindness. See, the music is quite intense and that's because I'd rather shout out loud then whisper stuff I find really important. What I'm really trying to do is to get the listener connected. To get, hopefully You, to find stuff in my music that You can relate too. To me, my songs are very personal but what I sing about is stuff that we all go through, live through and experience. So take a listen and see Your own images. We all have imagery of our own. Different flavors and roads to take. But not rarely we share a common goal right?;-)
