The Modern Jazz Quartet - The Last Concert 1 (1974). - Video
PUBLISHED:  Sep 14, 2016
DESCRIPTION:
''The Last Concert'' is a double CD live album by American jazz group the Modern Jazz Quartet featuring performances recorded at Avery Fisher Hall in 1974 and released on the Atlantic label originally as a double album ''The Last Concert'' (1975) and More from ''the Last Concert'' (1981) before the complete edition was released in 1988.

This recording was made in 1974 when they thought that the group would never play together again. So all the stops were pulled out, and all their favorite songs were played. And played well. If you've never heard the Quartet, you're in for a treat. If you love them, prepare to love them more.
