DESCRIPTION:
The summer of 2013 was fading, and the Upstate Concert Hall rang in the Fall season with a five-dollar slugfest featuring a slew of Clifton Park's tightest and heaviest metalcore bands.

Headlining Annihilation Fest were 10-year veterans Gunther Weezul, fresh from releasing their third and most unforgiving record, Join Us. The band features current Skinless bassist Joe Keyser, Section 8 frontman Jann Kasey Dorr, guitarist Michael Gregoire, and ex-Wasteform drummer Kevin Carley.

Gregoire and Carley took to the back of the venue following their performance to chat with us about the band's roots, their influences, and some of the struggles they had to overcome to remain standing after all these years.
