The film was shot by London boutique film company Anotherschmuck Productions on location on the streets of Paris, France.

It was filmed inside, outside & surrounding the Abbesses Métro station plus the restaurant Zouave des Abbesses in Rue Durantin, Paris plus an apartment in the République area of the French capital.

Further scenes were shot during a live DC Fontana gig held in the cellar concert room at La Mécanique Ondulatoire in Paris on Saturday, July 31, 2011.

Alongside DC Fontana the video also features Parisian burlesque dancer Mimi de Montmartre while Parisian cartoonist Alteau plays the part of one of the "baddies."

'Abbesses' was recorded during the summer of 2011 in the Elephant House, Birmingham & is produced by Donald Ross Skinner (Julian Cope, Salad, Cud, Love Amongst Ruins etc) & was mixed by G. Corp.

The other tune featured in the video is 'Le Voyage de Winona', also taken from the album 'La Contesa' & featuring strings played by the Liverpool Session Orchestra & conducted by Christian Badzura.

'La Contessa' features tunes from the British group sung mostly in French or Italian.

The sleeve notes of the record are supplied by jazz legends Keith Tippett & his wife Julie Tippetts (formerly known as Julie Driscoll).
