This is one of my favorite Bill Stewart phrases. I've heard him play this a handful of times, and was able to find a solo on YouTube where he uses it.

At :25 in, he plays this lick. In my video, I break it down and then rebuild it. It's based off of some pretty common concepts, but he phrases it so beautifully.

Also, it's important to point out how similar it is to a Tony Williams lick off of the studio version of "Seven Steps to Heaven."
