When LSD emerged in the late 50's many scientists were fascinated at this new drug's ability to simulate the symptoms of schizophrenia.
Many users reported a "mix up" of sensory signals. Some heard colors or smelled sounds. A huge veil had been lifted and much was revealed about the process of the brain. The new drug promised to be a miracle to therapists whose patients needed an insightful breakthrough. Some doctors reported a 100% cure rate among chronic alcoholics. They reported under corect doseage and conditions the patient was able to have a transcendant experience, a glimpse at eternity. Feeling the prescence of Infinate Wisdom addictions dropped off easily. Much more was to be revealed about the eternal , universal or soul portion of human existence when suddenly all research was outlawed. The magic key to infinity had to be put back in it's box.
