A Man's Point Of View by Abraham Cloud - Video
PUBLISHED:  Sep 11, 2014
DESCRIPTION:
"Some of my most vivid memories of childhood were trying to get my mother remarried. It seemed like the ultimate solution. She would be fulfilled and calmer, we would have enough money to survive and I would have someone who was a little more sane as an ally. I remember I would always drag out her paintings to impress plumbers or other workmen I felt might make good fathers. I was pretty relentless and I'm sure I scared the hell out of a lot of these poor bastards with my relentless sales pitch.
It took a lifetime to realize that her pain and sense of abandonment from all the men in her life was incurable. Her soul had been hurt and constant fear and anxiety ruined her life.
In retrospect , that god she never remarried . I'm sure a bad step father would have turned a difficult situation into a living hell.

It is so sad when a father walks away from his responsibility. The hurt runs deep and carries on for generations. There is a yearning built into all of us for a complete family. Father where were you, when I needed a man's point of view. " cloud

Father, where were you
when I was growing up ?
Tell me, what did I do
to chase you away ?
Father, where were you
when I needed a man's point of view ?
Father, where you when the roof caved in ?
Funny. we never knew how to mend a leak.
Father, where were you
hen I needed a man's point of view ?
Now I don't mind sayin'
that I could've used a little helping hand,
there were times I stumbled and fell
in a strange, strange land,
and I was so alone when I needed to know,
oh Father life can be so cold,
life can be so cold.
Father, where were you
when I needed a man's point of view ?
I needed a man's point of view
