DESCRIPTION:
Van Coke Kartel launched their first ''self titled'' album in November 2007.
This was launched with a national tour over December 2007.

Since then the band has released another three full length albums and has been awarded various local music awards including two SAMA's.

5 years later they are still around and more popular than ever. Die Halwe Dekade Toer saw them back on the road doing what they do best....

Die Halwe Dekade Toer ended at the Synergy festival in Cape Town on 1 December 2012.
The following week the band started with an intense December 2012 Tour schedule.
On 1 February 2013 Van Coke Kartel were nominated for four MK Awards. The band is currently in the proses of writing and recording new material that will be released by the end of September 2013
