My music Career began in 1990 with some breif chart sucess with The Ashbrooke Allstars on East West Records. I Then Signed to Big Life Records in 1992 as Ultragroove and remixed Digital Underground's "No Nose Job".
1993 I hosted a radio show called the Ultra Vibe with Tubes on Wear FM playing Soul, Funk, Hip Hop and Acid Jazz.
In 1998 i released my first solo single on Atomic Hi Fi Records "He Won''t Get Far" which attracted allot of attention via "Sprung" Extreme Sport DVDs. These events then lead me to signing a deal with Acid Jazz Records in 2001.
Since then i have released various singles ,two albums" Dead Men's Shirts" & "Gravy" and featured on many compilation albums .
I have been busy remixing for many high profile artits see discogs below.
2006 I started My own record label Wack Records in releasing the much sought after WACK VINYL WEP1 ,WEP2, WEP3 and the new wack 7" series.visit www.myspace.com/wackrecords
Iv Recently compleated a new album "Antique Soul" by Smoove & Turrell released on Jalapeno Records 2009. Various singles, taken from the album have been released along with remixes. check out the website for further info www.smooveandturrell.com
I have been DJing over 20 years and continue to do so all over the globe
playing regular events in Germany, Lithuania, Italy, France, Poland, Portugal, Greece, Russia, Hungary, Switzerland, Austria and all over the UK.
