Justin Bonfini is a composer, multi-instrumentalist, producer and engineer based out of Ontario. We've been pals and associates for a while; he worked on my first solo EP, which should be out soon.

Anyway, Justin approached me about playing on two of his solo tunes sometime last year. He'd send them to me after putting the finishing touches on each demo; they'd feature some great programmed drums and I'd add my flair. I also helped with some minor song arrangement tweaks. "Punishment" was recorded in early November and "The Fallen" about a month afterward.

I switched out my china for a big 'stack' from the bridge and on during "The Fallen". Also, my memory isn't serving me but from eyeballin' it, I believe that's my 13" rack. I used a 12" on "Punishment" with Vintage Emperor clear heads, as I had just wrapped up tracking both of my solo EPs and decided to use the very same tom setup. Finally, Chris Feener plays a wicked guest guitar solo in "Punishment" from 5:48 - 6:10.
