I put this video out to coincide with a tour I did to Brighton and Prague fringes. We shot it in one night against a black theatre curtain - we'd broken into a theatre I was working in out of hours and thought it'd help get some word out about my shows.

This song has been one of my signature tunes for longer than I can remember - I first covered it for a Perth local music gig where we all covered local bands. Joe from The Painkillers had put the show together and, being a contrary little idiot, I thought I'd turn his best song into a hard-hitting R&B/electroclash/nightmare hybrid thing. He loved it, and I loved it, and everybody loved it. So I just kept singing it.
