Brash and Sassy.
Lovers of Disco, Brash and Sassy have just released their debut EP, titled "NOW". A collection of songs reporting heartbreak, questions of people's intentions on a dancefloor- (do they think they're getting fit?), stories of pale young men with strawberry pouts and crooning of their passion for Men In Leather.
----
"NOW" was recorded by Matt Giovannangelo at Underground Productions, Perth and co-produced by Jaymes Voltaire of the Voltaire Twins.
----
In existence since 2006, Brash and Sassy have been commended for their music by the common public and music industry specialists, and also at their charming and uncomfortably elaborate shows.
----
Brash and Sassy have performed with Bertie Blackman and Hungry Kids of Hungary, appeared at the One Movement Fringe Festival, performed with Chromeo at Summadayze Perth, and played with the likes of Horse Meat Disco DJs, The Freemasons and Miami Horror; plus appeared at festivals such as Good Vibrations Festival and the Lilyworld stage at the Big Day Out.
----
Notable credits also include being nominated for Best Electronic Act at the WAMi Awards, featuring on the WAMi CD, and being finalists in the WAM Song of the Year competition.
----
Brash and Sassy are backed-up by a new and talented live band comprised of Guy Kristos (keys), Hønk Milmoe (guitar) and John Grant (drums). Doing it with panache, they're exposing their overtly sensual shows and sounds to welcoming minds around the world.
