For the album cover of An Audience With Tomás Ford, I took my little photo-crew out to Kellerberrin in the Western Australian wheatbelt. John Aliaga on video shootin' and Shaun Ferraloro on photography duties. We shot a photo for each of the twelve songs AND a music video in one big fourteen hour shoot/road trip/sleepover.

I was nuts to put this out as a single off of that record - predictably, radio continued to be unamused. But it was easily one of the best tunes I'd ever written and took the properly punk cabaret vibe of what I was doing to an even darker place than I Feel Dirty. No regrets - sometimes you've gotta punch your culture in the face, and let it catch up with you twenty years later. I'm still waiting for THAT, but this is probably best kept as our little secret anyway, yeah?
