DESCRIPTION:
"One for Stevie" is a composition I wrote for my son as I was touring
with Groove Holmes in the mid 80s. This was an experimental
composition in that I wrote the complete melody before and harmony was
conceived. I liked the result and continue now and then to use this composition
technique..

Behn Gillece - vibes

Other than the addition of vibraphonist Behn Gillece, this quintet has
a long history of making music together. I feel lucky to have the
opportunity to play with these world class musicians.
