DESCRIPTION:
Galway singers Naisrín and Zahrah Elsafty perform the famous Palestinian song "La Ahada Yalem" (aka "No One Knows") live in Dublin on Thursday 12th August 2010 (uploaded by IPSC with permission).

La Ahada Yalam was written in 1989, shortly after the outbreak of the first Palestinian Intifada. Amal Murkus, a Palestinian citizen of Israel, wrote the song amidst a feeling of helplessness towards the flood of names and TV pictures of the Intifada victims.

The performance was part of a concert to launch the Ireland Palestine Solidarity Campaign's "Irish artists' pledge to boycott Israel" held in Meeting House Square, Temple Bar.
