Eithne Ní Chatháin

Singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Eithne, is currently working on her 2nd solo album; a body of original, contemporary songs to be released in 2012, www.eithne.ie. Steeped and deeply rooted in traditional music, sean-nós song and the Irish language, Eithne embraces this heritage while simultaneously branching out to explore her contemporary songwriting and musical expression. Hailing from Co. Kildare, she currently lives in An Daingean, Co. Kerry. Eithne's natural grace and lightness of presence nurtures an audience with sounds of deep emotion and rare beauty.
