Lonely in the desert with my rum
fire's gone I listen to blue moon
I spray water on the cactus
No shade from a raptus
There is sedated bull, head of siux, auggg

crying the blues into my harp
I don't feel like playin' an encore
Feelin' empty as a barrel
No solution to the puzzle
It's almost midday and I'm feelin' blue

But suddenly like a overfloating river
I feel like a bull in the ring

Bustin' through the doors of the saloon
Piano man, play me a can can
Another hand at poker, applause for the joker
Tequila on the house for everyone
Talkin' in a frenzy like a train
I come onto every woman in my way
I get into a fight
Seduce the sheriff wife
Hey Folks it's time for my rodeo
Then I think of her and that she's gone
Like a flake of snow I go back down

Wanderin' around this downtown
Weeping on the grave of old John Brown
Sleepin' in the stable
Avoidin' soap and water
Livin' in the West is such a drag

But suddenly I hear the clock strike noon,
I am happy as a groom in honeymoon

I run and shoot like in the cartoons
I am more wanted than Billy the Kid
Playin' videopoker,
wagering my pony
Taking shots at random bang bang bang

I'm cutting off the scalps of the Apache
Into sixth gear, foot down on the gas
I'm winning the elections
I marry Pocahontas
No-one on this Earth can stop me now
Then I think of her and that she's gone
Like a Wall Street Crash I go down
Oh Susanna don't you cry for me
I didn't take the pill I was supposed to take at three
Oh Susanna don't you cry for me
I didn't take the pill I was supposed to take at three.
