AUGUST IN FALL is the solo project of the italian singer/songwriter Matteo Gamberini.



Born in Bologna and grown into the incessant musical and artistic wave that all along has characterized this town, during the last years Matteo has been one of the main leaders of the “acoustic underground movement” that has gained important recognition in the national “live music” scene.



After several experiences as front-man in rock and alternative bands, in 2006 he gave life to this solo and totally acoustic project. Shortly after recording two EPs and starting to play everywhere possible.



Thanks to the increasing interest around this project, he has had the chance to play more than 100 shows in Italy and abroad.



The songs are a fusion of different genres, touching on folk, pop and rock…sweet and melancholic atmospheres united to introspective lyrics.



At present, he is working on his debut album.

Nato a Bologna e cresciuto nell’incessante fermento musicale e artistico che ha da sempre caratterizzato la città, negli ultimi anni Matteo e’ stato uno dei maggiori protagonisti del movimento “underground” di cantautori acustici che si e’ ritagliato uno spazio sempre piu’ importante all’interno della scena live cittadina e nazionale.



Dopo diverse esperienze come front-man di gruppi rock, nel 2006 dà vita a questo progetto solista totalmente acustico e in inglese. Con questo nome d’arte incide diversi ep e inizia ad esibirsi chitarra e voce ovunque sia possibile.



Grazie al crescente interesse che si crea lentamente intorno al progetto ha modo nel corso degli ultimi due anni di esibirsi in piu’ di 100 date in Italia e all’estero.



I brani sono una fusione di diversi generi, fra cui folk, pop e rock…atmosfere dolci e malinconiche unite a testi intimisti ed introspettivi.



Attualmente, sta lavorando al disco di debutto.

In Bologna geboren, wuchs Gamberini in der beständigen Künstlerszene dieser Stadt auf. Er entwickelte sich zu einem der wichtigsten Mitglieder des „Acoustic Underground Movement“, einer Gruppe von Künstlern, die große Beachtung in der italienischen Livemusik-Szene fand.



Nachdem Gamberini Erfahrungen als Frontmann diverser Rock- und Alternativebands gesammelt hatte, entschied er sich 2006 dazu, solo Musik zu machen und tauschte die elektrische gegen die akustische Gitarre.



Daraufhin spielte er über 100 Konzerte innerhalb und außerhalb Italiens. Zurzeit arbeitet Gamberini an seinem Debütalbum.



In seinen Songs vermischt Gamberini verschiedene Genres wie Folk, Rock und Pop und erschafft eine verträumt melancholische Atmosphäre.
