Brilliant Irish folk song with the original recorded version set in the southern mountains of Ireland recorded and largely asscociated with the version by the famous "Dubliners " and later by the rock band "Thin Lizzy "in the 70's then later by "Metallica "in 1998.

There are a few variations for the lyrics. I like all versions of the song. Created my version in a Slightly off-beat rythm for this famousTraditional Irish folk song but using the original lyrics.
