What is Caravan Music Promotions all about ?

First and foremost it is about you the artist and your music.

If you’re happy, then so are we.

Caravan Music Promotions- is about exposure, artist development, working with new talents/bands just starting out, and about supporting indie labels.



Our objective is to get your music played on the radio on a global scale, and to gain you as much exposure as possible.

Working at grass roots level up, artists will achieve radio interviews, playlisting,live performance, and reviews.

If you have a music video we can help you get it out to music channels and we are able to achieve some TV interviews for artists that have a good angle ! We will not promise you play on MTV or similar channels but we have had success in this dept which has lead to bands being signed.



Caravan Music Promotions accepts all genres of music and we have no age limits.



We have a reputation for good artists and breakthrough artists/bands within the industry and we are always happy to advise. We always endeavour to maintain the highest possible standard.

The Caravan Crew believes all artists can make it with a set of realistic goals.



We will never lead you up the garden path. We tell it as it is.



We are excellent at artist development, and can help and advise any new record label/artist with image, marketing and also with press/radio/TV exposure so you don’t get left behind.

Radio and TV exposure



The Radio and TV exposure department is run by Caravan Music Promotions.

The Caravan crew have great experience in the industry working at both grass roots level and with multi platinum selling artists so no job is ever too big or too small. Call the office to talk about your project and get individual honest advice.

Big Red Project Management:

Marcus Burns is the project Manager on board the caravan , having worked with the likes of Napalm Death, Madness, and Roxy Music to name but a few Marcus is well equipped for any size project and any genre.

Marcus also runs his own fully professional recording studio and can record bands live at any location as well as in the studio environment.

Press



Caravan’s press crew is run by a London-based team with national and international contacts and experience,we are also very pleased to welcome Marie Lennon on board who has worked with and produced Huw Stephens radio show as well being a journalist and radio producer for many BBC stations and national press.

When we say press crew, we don’t just mean a team of writers who supply newspapers all over the country - though that is, indeed, part of the Caravan.

Oh no. We also mean a group of industry experts in art, design and photography who have worked with some of the music world’s greatest names - and a lot of new ones too.

All of the team have a real feel and enthusiasm for working with bands, artists and labels who are working hard to break through. The team is, indeed, one of the best in the industry and you will find their dedication and support second to none!

Legal



The Caravan and The Big red caravan does have in-house lawyers, and we do have excellent legal people working with us. These include some of the best music lawyers in the industry, as well as a very good team of commercial lawyers who deal with all the niggly bits that can arise from time to time.

An additional string to the Caravan bow, Big Red Films provides for all your music related video needs. We can script, story board, film and edit your music videos, shoot live events and film music documentaries.

Intern ships are always welcome and often lead to a paid position, so please send your CV to us and join the team in which field you wish to excel in.



Do we charge for our services?



Yes we do charge - but we are affordable, not faintable. We do not take a percentage of anything you achieve while with us, so you will not need a second mortgage or to put the paramedics on stand-by.

You own all your royalties and all copyright. We just open the doors for you.

Working as a team is what we advise, and communication is paramount to success.



WHY DO WE CHARGE?



We charge a service fee because Caravan Music Promotions is a PR company and not a management company. Our team members work very hard for you so the least we can do is pay them!



Do we need a long boring meeting to sort things out?



Well, meeting us is never boring. However it’s not something you have to do, nor indeed something we expect you to do!



We can work on your project with just a phone call from you and the right material… We have very good relationships with all our clients, even those in outer Mongolia (oh yes, they exist). So no worries about long lengthy meetings, losing the will to live in mid industry debates, getting stuck in traffic and popping on your brother’s wedding suit to impress us … We are always at the end of a phone or next to the kettle so just call. If we think a meeting is advisable we shall invite you to come and partake in a warm beverage with us and make it as pain free as possible!

If we travel to meet you we will need our expences paid so bear that in mind.



How much do we charge?



All packages are payable in manageable instalments and vary depending on what you the artist require.



Please remember whilst we are radio pluggers. We gain radio and media exposure for artists, but we also host a whole load of valuable services that every artist/label/project needs to help propel them up the industry ladder. Project management :

Caravan now has a consultancy side to business and we can project manage any campaign you may be having trouble with. We have proffesional fund raisers on board so just ask if you get stuck we know how difficult it can be.

Fees - press, gigs & tours



We always recommend working the press and you organising gigs to maximise your radio and on-line exposure - but each element can stand alone. WE DO NOT BOOK GIGS

As such, prices vary and will be supplied on application - flip through to contacts and hit the appropriate link. Like all Big Red Caravan work, the prices are extremely good value for money.

All meetings are held on a Saturday with clients as we are too busy in the week getting exposure and talking to industry basically doing our jobs .
