DESCRIPTION:
When I lost my mom I was a child. I wrote this song thinking about what it might be like if instead I was the mother who was losing her daughter. This song is about the difficulty of letting go of someone when they are dying. Letting go of my mom was very hard even though I knew she was in a lot of pain. I imagine that letting go of a suffering child would also be extremely difficult. The stained glass dove in the end of this video represents flying to heaven and that picture was shot at the Cathedral of the Incarnation in Nashville.
