Yolk was a jam band from Binghamton, New York. Individually Twisted is their 3rd CD. "It was recorded at the Clubhouse recording studio in Germantown NY. A "big time" studio in comparison to what they had worked in previously. Set right on the banks of the Hudson river with a view of the Catskill mountains, it was a lovely setting in which to spend three weeks of intense recording and mixing. Yolk, again, worked with Jim Walsh, but this time added Danio Saratak Lauriccella (Butthole Surfers / Blues Traveler) to the production team. The use of high end recording equipment manned by a staff of experienced professionals, coupled with the band’s maturing sound, made this the best sounding Yolk recording to date. Many say the sound of the band had gotten heavier in comparison to the previous two recordings, but the sound was still distinctly Yolk." (facebook bio)
