DESCRIPTION:
Fogo na Roupa is an award-winning Brazilian Carnaval dance and percussion company based in the Bay Area. Founded in 1989 by Mestre Carlos Aceituno, Fogo's programming is structured to develop confidence, discipline, and cultural consciousness through teachings of folklore, creative expression, and the origins of rhythms and dances. Fogo has the impact of not only teaching an art, but fostering a strong sense of self and community.
