Bruno Cardoso aka Xinobi has built an enviable reputation over recent years, kick started partly by his association with Discotexas and to some extent by his outstanding release on Kris Menace's Work it Baby label in 2010. His truly eclectic tastes and broad reaching styles have made him a genuinely exciting producer from whom you never quite know what is to come next, this is also reflected in his outstanding DJ performances. His recent remix of the Moullinex single 'Darkest Night' on Gomma was a highlight of the package whilst his own '(I Hate the Sound of) Guitars' was a standout release for Discotexas last year.

For his latest release Xinobi drops two brand new tracks, kicking off with the excellent 'Puma', a classic House inspired cut that fuses an old school organ line with shuffling percussion and hooky vocal samples to great effect. On the flip, things go a little deeper with the melodic and laidback 'Woods' journeying into atmospheric and hypnotic territory with its mix of ethereal pads and insistent bass, quality stuff.
