Discotexas is proud to announce a new and standout single track package. It comes from label boss Xinobi in cahoots with vocalist Lazarusman and continues the western European label’s fine tradition of serving up sizzling club sounds.
This is Xinobi aka Bruno Cardoso’s first original track since 2014 and comes ahead of a highlight anticipated full length. It was written “somewhere in the sky between Colombia and Portugal, and developed in the magical Discotexas Studios, in Lisbon under sleep deprivation.” Both hardware toys and software tools were used in its creation and came about mainly as a consequence of a post-party hangover and an uncomfortable and long overseas flight after the artist had been listening to some progressive space rock and deep and dark club tracks.
All of that shows and the words from Lazarusman make for an amazing description of someone watching someone else and wanting to be watched back. “I still have goosebumps when I listen to it” says Xinobi. The marvellous ‘See Me’ then, is a monumental track of hypnotic house and mellow narcotic techno. The bass is heavy, dark and mysterious and the idiosyncratic
Lazarusman layers his unique voice and noble words in a way only he can. Fresh and contemporary, the track has the guts to fulfil the pleasures of any underground clubber but it will also blow a big festival sound system.
