As if the current lineup of performers for this years mtv video music awards- and I mean everyone from Ariana Grande to 5 seconds of summer to so many more- wasn’t enough reason to catch the show… now we can add a new name to the list- BEYONCE! I know. I jumped for joy too. The last time she performed at the VMAs was in 2011, so yeah. It was time. And Queen Bey will seriously be owning the night because she’s up for 8 moonmen, more than any other nominee. Among them we have "Drunk in Love (feat. Jay Z)" nominated for Video of the Year and Best Collab. Her sexy "Partition" video is in the running for Best Female Video and Best Choreography. Duh. Did you see those moves? And "Pretty Hurts" is nominated for Best Direction, Best Editing, Best Cinematography and Best Video With a Social Message. And though I don’t know how things are going for her at home, her career is at an all time high! The VMAs will also bestow Bey with the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award, joining the likes of the Beastie Boys, Madonna, Michael Jackson, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake… you get the picture. So which song will she be performing at the VMAs? Please be partition. Let me know your favorite below or on my twitter @Miriamisa.
