PLGRM endeavour to share the unique stories of some Australia's most interesting, and forward thinking Independent Music Festivals. Through the eyes of the organisers, the artists and the punters, an exploration will be made into the genetic make up of each festival and how the different environment, music and ethos of each event influences and shapes the culture of each unique festival experience.

Episode 3: Paradise. Nearly 5 years after Black Saturday, one of Australia's worst recorded Bushfires, Marysville and The Lake Mountain Resort transformed itself into a weekend-long celebration of contemporary music and art for the inaugural year of Paradise. Andre Hillas, 23 year old founder and recent Arts Student Graduate, leading the young group of creatives aims to reinterpret Melbourne's cosmopolitan culture and transplant it into picturesque alpine setting of Lake Mountain. Paradise seeks to transform the urban music culture now thriving in Melbourne's small laneways, clubs and pubs for the unrestricted freedom of the high country - a reasonable contrast from the stories we have uncovered thus far.

Featuring the likes of Elizabeth Rose, Rat & Co, Naysayer & Gilsun, Oisima, Client Liaison, I'LLS, Animaux, The House of Laurence and The McQueens, PLGRM adventures to discover the perspectives behind one of the more intriguing festival concepts and backgrounds available to Melbournians in the summer.
