DESCRIPTION:
Collaboration has long been one of the most distinguishing features of Yale. In this video, Toshi Shimada, director of The Yale Symphony Orchestra, Jeffrey Douma, director of the Yale Glee Club, and Tom Duffy, director of the Yale Concert Band, explore their latest collaboration together -- a joint musical effort between the three musical ensembles that culminated in a performance of Ives' 4th Symphony (all three groups) and Durufle's Requiem (orchestra and chorus, with the Elm City Girls' Choir joining).
