Nottingham Youth Jazz Orchestra (Notts NYJO) runs three bands - An 18-piece Big Band, a Development NTJO2 Band and the smaller NYJO Combo seen playing in this video
NYJO are proud to have award-winning and Nottingham-born saxophonist Tony Kofi as their patron - http://www.tonykofimusic.com. Here he is playing one of a couple of tunes with NYJO Combo in the bar area of the Bonington Theatre, Arnold, Nottingham. Tony was there as part of the fantastic Basil Hodge quartet (http://uk.myspace.com/basilhodge), a gig promoted by Jazzsteps (www.jazzsteps.co.uk).

NYJO's lead tutor Ben Lee (http://bennylee.co.uk) is playing trumpet. The bass player depping for NYJO is Sam.
