DESCRIPTION:
Apurva is a Drum and Bass producer and DJ from Bombay whose first track is releasing in October 2011 on Marvel 360 Records. The track is a remix of a title track from the movie "Everywhere Nowhere", which released in the UK and features music from The Prodigy, Engine Earz Experiment, Redlight, Zinc, Sukh Knight, Sub Focus, Roots Manuva, Toddla Tm, Nerm and D-Code.

Apurva produces music of varying styles includin...g atmospheric, liquid, ambient, dub, jungle, dark as well as Indian electronica. As an artist, Apurva is open to all types of music ranging from old Hindi songs to pop, rock, breaks and classical. At present, he's working on a video for his new track, "Home" which falls into chill and/or atmospheric drum and bass. This track is supposed to release in late September of 2011.

Apurva's sounds have been appreciated by various underground DJs and producers as well, including known producers like B.R.E.E.D, (High Chai Recordings), Nuphlo, (Nasha Records, UK), and Amit (Commercial Suicide). He's also working on a collaboration track with Nuphlo (Nasha Records, UK) which will release in late 2011.

As a DJ, Apurva's breakthrough performance was at India's leading bass-heavy music festival, "BASS CAMP," with support from Kris Correya and Sohail Arora, members of Bay Beat Collective, (BBC).

Apart from making music, Apurva is also a graphic designer who works full time in a private game development company. Additionally, he also runs his own Youtube channel www.youtube.com/apurvadnb, where you'll find the clips of the largest DnB/Dubstep gigs from Bombay, which he shoots out of dedication to the scene. Some of these video shoots include artists and DJs like LTJ Bukem & MC Conrad, Klute, Nu:Tone, DJ Marky, Caspa, Pendulum, PRODIGY, B.R.E.E.D., Nuphlo, Nerm, Talvin Singh, Osmani soundz, Bay Beat Collective, Mental Martians, Bandish Projekt, Nucleya, Bass Foundation, URI, Shaair and Func, Midival Punditz, Pravvy Prav and himself! The main purpose of the channel is to spread the vibe amongst those who are still not aware of the widely spreading drum n bass and dub step scene in the country. Apurva devotes his time and energy to the music he loves and the artists that he supports in a very positive way. He is a huge support to various artists and DJs from India, not only because of the videos but also for a positive presence.
