DESCRIPTION:
Swiss Mod beat band THE REACTION performing "Thank You For Coming" from our 2nd EP 7" ca 1984. The Reaction reigned as Switzerland's one and only Mod Band for nearly a decade starting in 1981.
In this Video the line up is MAX, Guitar; VITAL, Organ; CHRISTIAN, Vocals; DOMINIQUE, Drums; TOBI, Bass & Backing Vocals.
We made 2 EP's 7" with 4 songs each "Turn The Clock Back" and "Thank You For Coming" on Blow Records. The next was a Full length LP self-titled The Reaction also on Blow Records, distributed by Rec-Rec. The Reaction toured all over Europe and became famous for their authentic performance with old amps and guitars, a sight for ears and eyes.
In 1987 they shrank to a Trio and made one more Maxi 12" called "Cheers Then & Good-Bye" performed on National T.V., before singer & songwriter MAX called it quits and went solo.

I don't know if any of The Reaction's vinyl is still available anymore because we did limited copies but if you come across one enjoy it maybe one day they will be reissued on C.D.
Even I'm missing the first E.P., which went all the way to #6 on the Alternative Playlist of the Canadian Based Radio Station CFMU FM 93 in Hamilton Ontario thanks to an article in the NY Fanzine "A Bucket Full of Brains."
