DESCRIPTION:
Trying to sound like Randy Rhoads in today's Marshall Code video. This is trying to match his tone, not playing like him, trust me, I could never play like him.
I based my amp settings off the actual amp settings Randy used. It is well documented in a Randy Rhoads book with pictures of his amp, these pictures were kindly sent to me by a subscriber to use and I tried to match them up as close as I can. I believe Randy used a Marshall SLP which is basically a modded Plexi as well as a distortion pedal and EQ pedal. I tried to match his distortion settings too.
Since there's no EQ pedal on the amp I am showing 2 versions of each track. 1 with just his matched amp settings and 1 using post EQ to try match his EQ pedal.
