I realized, after owning them for about 4 years, that I'd never showcased/demo'ed these speakers on my channel. Model No. SB-403. "2-Way Turbo Thrusters Speaker System", c.1984. I found them and the original little bookshelf stereo set with a fried, burning, smoking amp, at a usually overpriced thrift shop. I think it was all about $15. Well worth it even just for these speakers. 30 watts connected to a 100 watt per channel Pioneer reciever c. 1997-98. Yes, they get very loud...a nice-sounding loud. I usually only have to turn the volume up no more than a third of the way. Very cool modern 1980s design...usually hidden by the brown polyester mesh covers. The speakers and receiver are used daily connected to a desktop computer, cassette deck and turntable. The album is a 1975 pressing of Rocky Horror with an amazingly preserved, untouched, unremastered original stereo mix. Recommended.
