In the year of 1993, at the age of 16, BAGI was sent to Germany for personal reasons, where there, he became very familiar with the Hip Hop scene, but was very troubled by the environment, which was still very different, than that of the U.S.! His first experience with a group was in 1994 with the underground clique, The Lethal Cipher.
The Lethal Cipher released only two underground projects between the years 1998 2000 (Knowtoryus = Covert Operation) and ( Lethal Cipher = Just da Foundation). During that time, B.A.G.I., along with the Lethal Cipher, performed numerous opener shows for many Artists such as Das Efx & Heiroglyphics in the late 90s, as well as perform in nation-wide events such as the Adidas Streetball Tournament, The Popkomm (One of Germanys biggest Music Industry Convention), and various Clubs & Festivals.In 1998, due to personal issues, as well as, incriminating issues, the Cipher was forced to Restructure.
2001 the Arctic Circle was made, before a bureaucratic situation destroyed the whole project, and caused BAGI to head back to Virginia, where he took advice from his inspirators such as KRS-ONE, The RZA, Killah Priest, all the way to Audio Two, MC Lyte, Big Daddy Kane, Kool G. Rap & DJ Polo etc. Only by listening to the music, harder than he has ever litstened to it before, in order to find relation in life!!
In 2003, BAGI returned to Germany fully recharged, with even more enthusiasm. The main thing he is putting up with now, is the fact that the response from the german enviornment can-not believe that International artists such as B.A.G.I. provides the quality- enhancement of the U.S, in language. Then came the time, for the mature B.A.G.I. to actually go the distance. First he and the group NATO (Mad Rush, D. Phunk) and Ill Grill formed the Noo Age (2004), which is the result of foreign, offspring Hip Hop outside of the U.S.A., especially in Europe. The Noo Age has released 3 LPs in 1 year (2005- Ill Grill : History, B.A.G.I. : Decrypted, N.A.T.O. : tha twisted world), along with various Mixtape features, Exclusives, and has been the main event for many locations, as well as opening for artists such as Master Ace, Killah Priest, Sunz of Man, etc To put the icing on the cake; BAGI is a man on a mission, living out his true being.
