Biography
Der
gebürtige Perser DJ Gan-G begann bereits im zarten Alter von 13 Jahren an seinen
Turntablism-Skills mit Hilfe der ersten DMC & ITF Turntabelism-Videos zu feilen.
Mit dem Ziel, seinen damaligen DJ Idolen in nichts nachzustehen arbeitete Gan-G
hart und schaffte es tatsächlich bei den Großveranstaltungen der offiziellen DJ
Meisterschaften DMC und ITF im süddeutschen Raum große Erfolge zu feiern.
Nachdem nach den Szeneerfolgen die ersten Bookings in lokalen Discotheken
folgten, entdeckte das DJ-Talent neben dem Turntabelism die Club-Szene für sich,
aus der er heute nicht mehr wegzudenken ist. Nachdem er über die Jahre einige
Erfahrung sammelte und die Massen an Clubgängern mit seinen Sets begeisterte,
wurde er auch immer öfter als Support-DJ für die Europa-Touren zahlreicher
internationaler Stars wie Lumidee, Young Buck, Lloyd Banks, Yukmouth oder
Montell Jordan gebucht. Hieraus entwickelte sich auch Gan-Gs
Veranstaltungsagentur „Major Movez Entertainment“, mit der er Live Acts und DJs
vornehmlich aus Europa und den USA an die großen Blackmusic Clubs vermittelt.
Gan-G zählt also nicht nur europaweit zu den begehrtesten Blackmusic Club-DJs,
sondern gilt auch bei den angesagtesten Clubs in Deutschland und den
Nachbarländern als Ansprechpartner Nummer 1 wenn es um die Planung von Konzerten
und Events geht.
Durch seine Arbeit für „Major Movez“ besitzt Gan-G hervorragende Kontakte zur
internationalen Rapszene und so veröffentlichte er in Zusammenarbeit mit unter
anderem Kool Savas, Massiv, J.R. Writer, Lumidee, N.O.R.E. und Hot Rod einige
Mixtapes und Alben. Seinem Release „Bump My Shit“, ein von G-Units Hot Rod
gehostetes Mixtape mit zahlreichen exklusiven Tacks der größten Stars aus der
Rap und RnB Welt wie 50 Cent, Lil Wayne, T.I., Mary J. Blidge und Lloyd Banks,
wurde Anfang 2008 international große Aufmerksamkeit zu teil. Kurz darauf, im
Sommer 2008 erschien außerdem das erste eigene Album des „Major Movez“ CEOs,
„Still Major“ für das er nicht nur Kool Savas als Host, sondern auch zahlreiche
andere weltweite Rap-Stars ins Boot holen konnte. Neben Kool Savas und dessen
Schützling Caput sind dabei auch Lil Wayne, Fat Joe, Don P (Trillville) und Stat
Quo mit exklusiven Tracks vertreten. In der seit Jahren stagnierenden
Musikbranche scheint Gan-G einer der wenigen Lichtblicke zu sein, der sich nicht
nur aufgrund seines unglaublichen Talents, sondern auch dank seines unablässigen
Eifers sein Business nach vorne zu bringen, im Rampenlicht der Szene halten
kann.

your way up will be a walk in the park. Persian-born DJ Gan-G realized at a
fairly young age that dreams and wishes can only be fulfilled if you are ready
to work hard. Already with 13 he started getting acquainted with the decks. From
this time on his enthusiasm for turntablism hasn't stopped… Over the years he
polished up his technique, spent all his money on music and developed his own
individual style. Fascinated by the early DMC & ITF Videos he soon seized the
opportunity and took part in these events. It was the ITF Championships 2001
when he stepped into the limelight as DJ Gan-G for the first time. There he was
able to convince the judges of his brilliant sets straight off and became
southern Germany's finalist at the end. At the DMC Championships of the
following year he once again caused a sensation as a finalist and started
drawing attention across counties.
After receiving his first bookings in clubs he more and more liked djing in
clubs. From this point on he hasn't had a problem pleasing the crowds and
increasing his fame correspondingly. He also supported international artists,
such as Lumidee, Lloyd Banks, Young Buck, Yukmouth and many more, on their club
tours across Germany. His occupation as a professional deejay caused him to
bring the event agency Major Movez Entertainment into being in the end of 2004.
Ever since he has not only had wide repercussions as DJ Gan-G but also as a very
successful entrepreneur.
He made contacts through his work at Major Movez, which lead to his first
important releases. He released within only 2 years mix-cds in collaboration
with artists like Kool Savas (Optik Records), J.R. Writer (Harlem Diplomats),
N.O.R.E. (DefJam/Roc-a-Fella), Lumidee (Logy Music) and of course there's no end
in 2007…
