For more than one and a half decades, ten studio albums so far and countless 12 inches and remixes, Jean F. Cochois a.k.a. The Timewriter, has established himself as one of the most internationally respected writer/producers of his musical genre and considered one of the founding members of the Tech House movement.

We've super excited to be welcoming The Timewriter to Melodica Recordings for an exclusive three track digital EP. The tracks that we have lined up showcase an eclectic production style that's all his own. 'Give It Back' is a sumptuously textured house track, with a thumnping kick and restrained vocal samples bathed in rich reverb and noisey splices.

Next up we have the title track. 'Epicly Strong At Heart' is an emotive piece that plays on shifting Broken Beat patterns, muted organs and melodic chimes. To complete the package, we have 'Paul The Ponderer', a track that sits comfortably between the armchair and the dancefloor. Spooky synths undulate throughout creating dissonant tones and moments of gentle harmony.
