New lyrics by The Angel & Robot Show
Oh Normal Night
The stars must have been shining
It is the night
of a potentially fictitious mere mortal's birth
Long lay the world
in fear and superstition
'til He appeared
and it didn't change a squirt
The thrill of hope
would have to wait for centuries
for yonder broke
a Scientific Age
Stand on your feet
Oh hear, the Angel & Robot voices
Oh night, oh night
Oh night, when Christ definitely wasn't born
Oh night,
Oh niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight,
Oh night,
Oh Normal Night
