D-Edge Records is proud to present a new EP from Ibiza based, Brazil born talent Rod Maya. The release features two original tracks plus two killer remixes from Manuel Sahagún and Andre Butano vs Demian Muller.

Born in Rio, Brazilian IT graduate Rodolfo Maia aka Rod Maya has been DJing since the 90s. He has promoted his own parties as well as playing Sankeys, Space, Privilege and many other places around the world at the same time as running his own DJ Agency.

Up first, 'Wok Talks' a perfectly funky bit of machine made house with a disco twists. It's raw and robotic and demands you shake your limbs to the bumpy beats and slapped percussion. Woozy chords add warmth and depth to the track and it really is s standout cut.

Second original 'Too Much Cold' is again delightfully spritely and lively. The boom bap of the drums and perc is refreshing and gurgling bass and synth lines help tie it all together.

Argentinian Manuel Sahagún, who has been DJing and producing on labels like Kolour and OFF for more than a decade, transform the track into something a little deeper and dirtier with a gritty bassline before accomplished duo Andre Butano vs Demian Muller rework the track into something much more direct, druggy and trippy for the more energetic moments on the floor.

This EP brings together a wealth of South American talents and offers up some super fresh house music as a result.
