What a family!
You take musicians of different generations from different musical ranges as Punk, Spacerock, Folk, Ethno, Gothic, Ambient, Trance, Jazz, Beat and Krautrock, put them into a recording studio and let them do! The result – the next album of the German music community THE ELECTRIC FAMILY. For 10 years the project with members of music legends as Amon Düül II, Grobschnitt, Agitation Free, Die Ärzte, Pankow, Philipp Boa, The Perc and Thirsty Moon brew this unique so-called Family sound. On the album “Ice Cream Phoenix” from 2003 US-ROLLING STONE’s David Fricke, important Rockwriter, gave the german music project the pleasure and honour writing the liner notes. His result: You can get lost in this music!
Now – 10 years after the band was founded by Tom THE PERC Redecker – the Family has released the 4. studioalbum named “Royal Hunt” – a heavy, dark, psychedelic monolith. Enjoy it - and tell it to your neighbours.
