DESCRIPTION:
Snippet from the after-dance hoedown at the Chicago Barn Dance, June 23, 2014. The acoustics were a little difficult on the camera, but the dancers' remaining burst of energy even after a full evening of contra dancing was worth capturing. The band is Roger and the Codgers: Roger Netherton (age 18) on fiddle, Fred Campeau on banjo, Steve Rosen on guitar, and Tony Scarimbolo on bass. The traditional old-time tune is "Grub Springs."
