Terry Manning and The Wild Ones were friends with other El Paso bands, including local star Bobby Fuller. After this recording, in late 1963 Terry left for Memphis, where he began a long career in the music business as Producer, Engineer and Artist. A few months thereafter Bobby left for Los Angeles, where he rocketed to stardom with "I Fought The Law" and other hits, only to meet an untimely and mysterious death. The remaining Wild Ones reformed with some added members and became a well known fixture on the El Paso music scene. In 1966 they also relocated to Los Angeles, ironically arriving there for a planned meeting with Bobby on the very day of his death.
