SUPER COZI

Supercozi a.k.a Cozi Till Yukimi Yonezawa started her musical journey as a lead singer & guitarist in a rock band and spent years performing underground gigs and releasing albums, including solo efforts from some of the major labels in Japan.
Somewhere in the mid 90's, after discovering techno ,Trip Hop and Balearic chill, she began teaching herself to make music with a computer and Akai sampler and started producing her own brand of experimental electronic music all by herself. Around '97 she also started DJing in the clubs and parties of Tokyo .
2000 saw a move to the UK where she formed electronica unit 'Zen Lemonade' with Gus Till . Their first album " Lemon Soul " was released from Youth's legendary DragonFly Records in 2002 ( Youth- the bassist of Killing Joke and award winning producer of The Verve, The Orb and many others) and it led them to play at festivals around the globe .
In the same year she moved to Bali - 'Island Of Gods'- and in 2005 formed her own label ' Hypo=Espresso Records'. Since then she's been releasing tracks that freely blend the genres: From deep driving techno, acidy electro to dub, trip-hop, exotic & jazzy downbeat- Also her label featured many well known producers and big names such as System7, Ian Ion, Gus Till , Blue Planet Corporation , Michele Adamson , Rennie Foster as collaborators and remixers , also introducing new talents from all over the globe as well .
She also had released many cross-genre tracks not only from her own label, but also from the many respected labels around the world.
As a result of this endless artistic output she has enjoy flourishing success as a DJ - playing in more than 17 countries world wide and keeping the crowd banging at countless clubs and parties. She has also gained massive popularity as the DJ of choice for exclusive events at high end venues .
From Moscow's mega clubs and wild and massive outdoor festivals at Mount Fuji Japan, exclusive clubs in Mumbai, chill-out stages in the sensual forests of Greece to the breezy decks of the beach parties of Bali Her sets are always be able to rock the dance floor, stirring the air unexpectedly with her signature genre-crossing mix styles full of surprises .
