Gringo Locomotion

Gringo Locomotion is the first ambient CD by renowned electronic producer Ian Ion and the fruit of almost ten years of work. The project was first seeded in 1998 when Roskilde Festival asked Ian to make a one hour soundscape for their octaphonic sound system at the D-Day stage. The music that followed was so well received than Ian wrote another piece the following year. Over the years, more material was added and in 2007 Ian was approached by Chill Tribe Records to put together a full ambient CD. Gringo Locomotion is the ripe work of a mature artist, yet still growing. But don't take our word for it - listen to some of the samples provided here and judge for yourself!
