When we sing this at Blessed Sacrament Church, choir members often give me a knowing glance, as it is my very favorite advent carol. In my arrangement I wanted to convey the warmth and joy of preparing for the holidays. I love everything about this song, the buoyant melody, the beautiful poetry and the hopeful message.
