I have a feeling this is Justin Jay's breakout record. The A-side "Static" is at 118 BPM and will sweep you up then rip your pants off. But even when you get hit with the massive bassline, an old school anchor stays intact. "Waves" B-side has a classic deep dirtybird feeling, with tuned 808's and a surprising melodic element showing off the sweeter side of this up and coming young gun.

Justin Jay has more potential than anyone I've heard in a while and if he continues to play like he has been lately, he has a long DJ career ahead of him as well.
